A practical builder, an honest communicator and a massive nerd.
The best data work is not the fanciest model. It is the answer people understand, trust and can use before the opportunity disappears.
I'm at my best when I can move between the technical detail and the wider problem: designing a warehouse model, challenging a KPI, helping an analyst grow, or explaining what the numbers mean to a room full of people with completely different jobs.
Outside work, I'm into videogames, Dungeons & Dragons, Star Trek, homelabs and Pokémon to a degree that has become permanent body art. I also run CartPilot.mt and automate things that absolutely did not need automating until I noticed them.
